About the teacher

Alana has been big into health and wellness for 15 years. Crossfit and Olympic lifting were her passion for a long time. She participated in local competitions, training her physical body for endurance and strength. While training for a half marathon she realized she needed to strengthen her mindset and establish a breathing pattern, so she turned to yoga. After months of training and time on the mat she felt the benefits of a yoga practice. The breath work and calming effect of yoga provided the focus for her to complete the marathon. That was the moment Alana knew she needed a faithful yoga practice for the rest of her life on this beautiful earth.
